No workout today. I went with the youth last night to the BYU basketball game and didn't get home until late. Tomorrow I run again and Saturday - some how, I've got to fit in a long run. I did go to the doctor yesterday. My hip pain is bursitis. Very common and easy to treat. I'm taking an anti-inflammatory, icing after my run and doing some stretches. If it doesn't improve then a steroid injection. I'm hoping for improvement.

I have to tell someone this, this is the place to do it. This is the place I have shared this journey. I'm done. I want to quit. Everything in me screams it. I run, and run and run. I'm eating within my points. I see no progress. I see gains. I'm up four pounds. There is this little glimmer though inside me that is screaming back. Keep going. Just keep going. Please keep going. It's beginning to win. Even as I sit here. I've never been this far. Ever. I can see then end of this portion of the journey. It's not very far. How? Where? What do I do?

  1. I could be wrong... but I assume you are LDS (judging by your quote form Pres. Hinckley)
And I have been thinking a lot about this weight loss journey. We aren't all going to be a size four. but what matters is that we LIVE a healthy lifestyle. The word of wisdom seriously says it all. Weight watchers is a tool that gets you on track, but the word of wisdom will lift you up. Just continue to eat healthy and exercise. Regardless of if the scale is moving or not you are going to be healthy. I know its so frustrating when the scale isn't moving I am there right now... I am not anywhere near a weight rage that I can say I am "healthy" but i know that I have just got to focus on eating healthy foods and moving my body and my body will weight what it wants to weigh. So maybe forcus on that... http://providentliving.org/content/display/0,11666,8922-1-5129-1,00.html gives you a breakdown of how much of what food groups you should eat. Its just a suggestion, but thats where I am right now.
