It's Monday! Yay! Can't wait to start a new week and end this weekend. For the first time in weeks we had no family activity and we didn't travel. Perfect for weight loss. Even more perfect was a monster hike and helping our friends move. Right. Sounds perfect. Unfortunately, I gained this weekend. How? I'm still back tracking a figuring out. Friday - answer - made cookies, ate 3 cookies, went to lunch with my husband. We had Chinese - holy sodium Batman! Beef and Broccoli with fried rice and egg roll. Not a good meal for weight loss. Saturday after such a great activity day, we went to dinner with friends. Ordered a steak, fresh veggies no butter, salad, light ranch, water... blooming onion, rolls... shared a glacier (slushy with icecream) with my husband. I didn't even touch my steak, but I did eat some of the blooming onion.
Oh, well. I can only move forward! I look back and think, man.... I could have hit my goal with a weekend like that! It will come! These little bumps don't happen often. Learn. Learn. Learn.
Got up and ran this morning. Distance -2.92 miles Time 33:06 minutes 11:30 a mile. Not bad. I was hoping to be faster. I was trying to be faster.
Well, girls camp is this week. I'm not really prepared. Today is packing and figuring out food that I will be able to take. Then, home from girls camp and off to family reunion this weekend. I thought summer was supposed to be relaxing. I haven't slowed down yet!
