Weigh in - up 0.2 lbs - it is what I expected. It's a short week and throughout this journey, I haven't really seen a weight change until the end of the week.

When I got home, I was starving and the thought of a gain was in my head. Yes a tiny gain. I wanted to eat everything. I took a bite of a cookie and thought -- WAIT -- my week isn't over. WHAT AM I DOING?
Why does weigh in equal binge? I did finish the cookie (there wasn't much left!) and then I fixed my normal breakfast. More importantly I tracked everything!! We'll see how this weekend goes. I'm going to do a little planning so that while traveling we aren't eating fast food. I'm taking our fruit, water and veggies.

This journey is different. I a changing physically which has happened before. More importantly, I feel that a mental transformation is taking place. It feels good.

  1. .2 should not be a disappointment. Your weight fluctuates much more than that. Count it as not a loss, okay, but to think you gained, you are ok. Sometimes a .2 means next week will be -3. Do not sabotage what you worked for because of .2. Where are you traveling? I hope you took your running clothes and run on vacation. It is one of the greatest things ever! You can do it, Molly, don't forget that.

  2. Okay - I just packed my stuff and I totally packed my running stuff! I know weight goes up and down -- I follow it in the morning and at night. I know too much but it keeps me on my toes. Thanks for your support! It's really nice to have you around!!!
