I took the day off today. My body needs a recovery day. Tomorrow, I'll get up and do my long run - six miles. I haven't done six miles for a few months.

My body is freaking out. I don't know what it's doing. I'm working out, running, staying within my points and I'm gaining weight. I'm just going to stick with what I'm doing and hopefully everything will even out. I may need to eat more to make up for my increased running. I'll wait and see what happens by Saturday.

I'm up three pounds from my December 3rd weigh in. It's funny to be able to notice 3 pounds but I do and it bothers me. Just keep swimming! Just keep swimming! Focus on behaviors and it will all be okay!

  1. If you are just getting back into a full throttle exercise routine, your body could be hanging onto weight for a week or two. Give it time - you are doing the right stuff and it will catch up to you. Go girl!
