I had a good run and workout today. I've decided that I'm tired of running slow. The only way to get faster is to run faster -- duh. It has killed me and I've tried to push it the past two days. I'm not where I want to be but I'll get there.

I did Jackie's workout today - that's two time this week. Yeah! Friday in her class will make 3 cross training workouts for the week. I am really enjoying her training!

I've got half my protein for the day. I may have to have another protein shake. I'm not complaining - it's a great treat to have in the afternoon. I'm trying to shake off the desire to make cinnamon rolls today. It's cold and snow is on the way. Totally calling for cinnamon rolls and comfort food. Healthy comfort food will work!

  1. Yay for the running. I have trouble forcing myself to get faster, which would be why I am still so slow. It is a goal of mine to get faster this year though. What kind of protein mix do you use for your shakes? I am looking for a good one since they are so expensive - I don't want to buy a whole tub of it only to find out I hate it!

    The weather totally works against me - rain and cold and snow beckon me to the kitchen to make hot chocolate and warm gooey pastries...it is so hard to fight that!
