Awesome morning! I woke up, had my 5 mile run in my head, knew about how long it would take, headed to the gym. The parking lot was a sheet of ice - very scary, not for me but there are so many older people who are there that early. I walked in with my friend who asked how far I was going - 5 miles was my answer. It was the mileage in my head :) I was wrong - our schedule said 6 miles. Dang. Was I ready for 6 miles today? Sure. It's just another mile, right? Yep!

Please forgive my writing. Today is a rambling day. I did the 6 miles. Felt pretty dang good! My goal was to run it under 11 minutes a mile. Done. Average -- 10:59. Not much under but it is under.

Day 2 of no treats. I'm gonna do it. It's just a day. One day. It's going to make a difference. I've upped my veggies and have them out on the counter so I can snack on them all day. Dinner -- I've got to get it going so that it's not a stress tonight.
