So, Jillian got to sleep in today and I pulled out my new Bob Harper DVD. Whoa. I did the 20 minutes version because when I preview this, the hour workout looked like a killer.
Well, the 20 minute was 5 minutes of warm up, about 15 of workout. After doing the workout I hadn't even started sweating. Um. What to do? I had some time left so I did 20 minutes of the hour workout. WoW! It is a workout. Different from Jillian. A Good Different. Bob works your butt off. Literally. If I had more time I would have done more. I quite and started the cool down at the water break. My arms and legs are feeling this.
I think it's good to change things up. I read once that muscle confusion is good. I think I get into a rut with running - I love it and I'm not going to give it up - I will be changing my running up a little over the next few weeks. I want to work on speed. I love moving. I love being active.
Last year at this time I was just starting my journey. I feel comfortable on the road I'm on. I feel like my eating is almost there. It is a constant - constant decision making process. It took me a year but finally - LiGhT bUlB moment --- POWER FOODS!! That's where it's at. That's the focus!
Thursday -- Bob -- you're getting up with me again and this time - I will make sure I have an hour for you!
First of all, I LOVE the quote at the top of your blog - that President Hinckley sure was a smart and amazing man! Secondly, it is my goal to run a half-marathon this year as well. Only the furthest I have ever run is a 5k. So I am starting training for a 10k, and then the half. I am so excited to follow your blog!
