So I decided to try and run in my new Brooks again. I love them. They are so light. Before my hips really were sore all day after running. We'll see how they do today. A lady at the Rec Center suggested that maybe they just need to be broken in. I hope so. I really like them.

Today, running was good. I felt good. My legs felt good. My pace never dropped below 11 minutes which I love! I signed up for my half marathon on June 11th and down loaded a training program. I will admit, it is a little intimidating. The start time is 6:00 AM - the bus leaves at 3:45 AM to the starting line. That is hard -- I love sleep. I can't imagine running well after being up all night. I really would like to talk to some people about this and get their advice.

This has been a great week. Vicki, my Weight Watchers leader, challenged us to eat 10 meals that were Power Food meals. This is what I needed. This is what it's about. Power Foods. That's it. I have loved this challenge. Because I'm eating Power Foods, eating A cookie figures into my points and I don't cling to the mental fat of eating A - yes A cookie.
