My post today is going to sound very similar to Wednesday's - At the beginning of my run, I told my friend I was going to quit early. That sounded good. In my head it sounded so good.

The beginning of my run I felt great. When I got my update at a half mile my pace was good and I felt great. I decided to try for a new 5k PR - got it! I am so excited that I am getting faster. My mile today was 10:09 and my new 5K PR was 32:34 - ave pace 10:55. Who would have thought? Not me. I was tired after the 5k - I walked my minute and then ran again. At four miles I was done. My goal kept popping up - I couldn't quit until I got my 4.5 miles in. I didn't. I did not quit. It builds my confidence so much anytime I follow through on something like this.

I love to follow Keelie's blog. I love to read about her faith and what sustains her. I haven't ever mentioned my faith before. I am preparing a lesson to teach to my young women on Sunday and it talks about their relationship with Christ. Would they know Him if He walked into the room? I would hope that I would, and that I would fall down on my knees in gratitude.
