I did my long run for the week today. I actually slept in until 6:30 and ran around 7:00AM - in the light. I'm glad I don't run this far every day but today it wasn't that bad. My entire family, with the exception of myself and my baby girl had strep throat, I've been waiting to get it and this morning I didn't feel great - was that a sore throat??? Nope - felt better after the run and my throat didn't hurt - THANK GOODNESS!
It's hard for me to believe that I can run as far as I did today - uh... wow. I'm having a little doubt about the 10K in October. I haven't signed up for it yet - I need to. I just worry - what kind of people sign up for a 10K? What if I'm the biggest and slowest person there? What if I finish last? After reading about Lauralyn's race - who cares? She did great! My goal isn't just to finish - it's to finish in 70 minutes. I think it's possible. I really need to go look at the course and see how many hills and what they are like. I can do it!

Weigh in was also today - down 0.6 lbs. I'll take it. I had a horrible eating weekend last week. Not this weekend. I'm making that six mile run count!
