Day 1 - 30 Shred

Oh my gosh. That's it. I don't think any more can be said.

Kidding. I started my 30 Shred today. I'm really glad that it's only 20 minutes. I excited to see improvement. As I previewed each level I thought - eh Level 1 doesn't look too bad. Oh my gosh. I did it. I started with 5 pound weights - I will be going to WalMart to purchase a set of 3 pound weights. I feel great. I can't believe I can run 6 miles and 20 minutes with Jillian kicked my butt. I can't wait to see the difference in my endurance.
Here's my measurements to start.

Waist: 38 3/8
Abdoment: 47
Hips: 47 1/4
Thighs: 22
Bicep: 13

Here's to the SHRED!!! Give me whatcha got!! I'm so ready!
(Until tomorrow when I'm sore!)

  1. Hi Molly!
To answer your question YES! If I weren't sick I would still be running, however at this point in my journey and because I am not training for anything, I am only running for pleasure. On the average I would run 4 or 5 days a week with an average of 5-10km.
Right now because I'm committed to the shred once I get better, I am hoping to get out around 2-3 times a week.
That being said, I have in the past found that the shred has added to my endurance because I have built muscle and felt stronger running.
    Hope that helps!
Good luck to you, it's a great DVD, as much as I love to hate Jillian ;-)
