I had a good run this morning. I actually listened to the TV instead of trying to read the sub-titles and the time went much faster! I ran 4 miles and then did some ab and arm work. Don't get to excited. Nothing big, just some push ups and sit ups.
I weighed in this morning - 178.6 lbs. Finally, the scale is moving. Never underestimate the power of your period. It wreaks havoc on the weight loss - both mentally and physically.
I am on day 8 of no sugar. Proud moments here - I made peanut butter chocolate chip cookies on Saturday -- I didn't eat any dough and I didn't eat a cookie. I still have buttermilk syrup in the fridge and I haven't had a bite! Pat! Pat! Pat!
I've been reading about the glycemic index. Even though I'm trying to eat healthy\, many things I eat and feed my family are high on the glycemic. I'm really interested in this and I need to find more information. I really think this is the key to what I need to be doing. In the end it will all come down to what I know already - less sugar, less processed food and the key --- VEGGIES. Seriously veggies are the key to eating.
