This morning was a new event - I ran at the Rec Center - in a circle for an hour. I'm a little nervous about the 10K on Saturday. Can I really do this?? Answer - yep. Stop playing the mental game - I've done it before - I will and can do it again.

Distance: 4.99 Miles (I swear it was 5.01) Time: 1:00:00 Pace: 12:01 per mile Calories: 795

It felt good. My hips are sore this morning though. I need to figure that out. Is it my stride? Is it the shoes? Is it the distance? Better stretching?

  1. Hips may be from twisting while you run. Make sure your arms swing straight forward and back, not in front of your body.

  3. Next time I will call. We visit so much less than we used to that we seemed to get pulled by a lot of directions. The arms swinging is a great suggestion - I'll pay attention next time - I think you are probably right.
