I love Core Secrets - I'm tired and sweaty and feel like puking. I worked hard. Not like jogging but still feels good. I got on the scales a lot last week and beginning this week. I'm going to put them away so they don't tempt me. Everything works better without the number. I focus on my behaviors.
The goals I set for this week are helping me. No chips and no sugar. I did get the chips out - had a couple and then remembered my goal and put them away. I made the kids cookies after school and yes, I had a crumb but didn't eat an entire cookie. My goal was in my head.
I know this week will be a challenge. Blowing off the weekend was not so great but you know what - it's going to happen. How I handle it will be the test. Am I learning anything? We'll see how the week goes. I would like to say yes. I'm getting it!
Last night we got Chinese takeout. Oh so yummy. Here's a new one. Instead of eating out of the container and eating the entire amount -- I got a plate out of the cupboard and put my servings on the plate and put the rest away. I did have almost 2 cups of rice - more than one serving - it's okay. I am feeling very full still this morning. My salads should come at dinner, not lunch. Keelie, the author of Real Fat, tries to eat the majority of her calories in the first third of the day. I think there is something to that. Maybe I can try that the rest of the week. Off to shower and get the kiddies out the door!
