Another day, another start. I started training for my 5K today. I'm so excited. I was inside on the treadmill but it was still great. I forgot how much I love jogging. I am doing the Coolrunnings Couch to 5K training. I like this one because you can either train by distance or time. On the treadmill distance is easy, outside a little harder because I don't know how to measure my distance. I just had a thought.... on the treadmill, I should be going by distance. I've always gone by time. Um... on Wednesday I need to remember that. I also feel like I'm starting at a faster pace than I jogged before. We'll see. Oh I feel good. Tomorrow I will either do Core Secrets or The Firm. We'll see what I'm in the mood for.
My challenge this week will be food. My kids are gone. When they are here I'm really too busy to eat. This morning I think I will go hide or get rid of everything that could tempt me. Bye, bye yummy strawberry trifle -- you are outta here! I may have to go buy some fresh produce. I'm out of apples and oranges. Oh, maybe a pineapple would be good!!
At my WW meeting Saturday, our leader announced a 5k being sponsored by WW. It will be held on June 5th. A good time to see how it goes before my 5k on the 12th. I love it!

I am almost to where I always am! The mark - 239 lbs. This is a number that is always there. For as long as I can remember 239 has been a number in my weight history. I can't wait to move past you! This week I want to move past 239. This week is the week that will answer the number one question. Did the pill keep me from losing weight. We'll see -- I hope the answer is a resounding YES! Bye, bye 239! Hello - new star and another 5 pounds removed! Bring it on!
