So today, I'm a little tired. My lower body is tired. Yesterday's hour and half work out did me in. Today should be a rest day but I wanted to do something. I did 30 minutes of walking with Leslie and I was done. Feels good. I am realizing that I need to find something with some serious upper body and some ab work. My lower body is doing great and I feel like I have some great tools for the lower body.
I didn't get on the scale at all yesterday. That is a mile stone. It has been months since I have been weighing myself everyday. It really does hold me to a new standard. Forces me to be accountable for everything that passes my lips.
Our challenge this week was to try 10 new things with eating. Monday I did a new halibut recipe and a new rice recipe -- not a very happy family. I liked it and DH liked it. Last night I slice chicken breasts in half so each one was thinner and then seasoned them -- what was new? I used a new spice - I can't remember if it was rosemary or thyme. I also cooked them in chicken broth. They were delicious and will be good on a salad today. I also did mashed potatoes and used chicken broth and a little garlic to flavor them. These were a hit all the way around. I like the challenges and have really benefited from them. Thanks Weight Watchers!

  1. Your doing great and I love your attitude. Ive been stale mate for the last couple of months, but am getting back on track. I WANT it too bad to give up! The chicken sounds yummy. We are having grilled salmon with a raspberry salsa, brown rice and steamed broccoli tonight......but def going to have to make the potatoes the way you did. They sound yummy!
