So today is the beginning of my August challenge. I am going to lose 10 pounds in August. I am going to meet my goal of 209 pounds on September 1, 2010.
How you ask? Oh you ask such great questions!

1. Add The Firm workouts back into my schedule.
I need to add strength training to my workout schedule. So far I've just been walking and running. My body needs some core training and some more muscle. Muscle burns more calories than fat. I want more muscle.
2. Train for my 10K on October 9th.
I will be running more. Lots more. Faster too!
3. Track. Track. Track.
By continuing tracking my food and activity I enable myself to see and use my history to improve my eating habits. Tracking also holds me accountable.
4. Eat more fruits and vegetables at each meal.
After looking through my journal, veggies are a little more foreign to me than they should be. Fruit really isn't a problem. I will be having veggies at each and every meal.
