When I was camping I did run one day. I thought I could run from our camp to the lookout tower on the top of the mountain - 3 miles. I started and only made it a mile before I turned back. I actually thought I would puke - I couldn't catch my breath and I couldn't run for more than a minute. I really underestimated what elevation does and how steep it was - I was dreaming but I tried. Next time I will have my dear husband drive me to the top and run down!
Ran today for the first time this week. Felt good. Felt slow but actually about normal. I haven't been working out everyday and that's a real problem. I need to get up every morning and get that routine back before school starts again. I need to work out every day. I'm close to my 50 pound mark and I want to get there -- I am close to the 200 pound mark and I'm gonna get there -- BUT I have to work our 5 days a week not 3 --
I don't think I've told anyone this -- I was so excited when it happened. I needed some new shorts - I found some cute ones - took a size 18 and a 16 in to try on. The 16s fit! Oh joy! I was so excited. It's been years since I wore a 16! Yeah!

Love the new background. Running in the mountains is a whole different ballgame. The elevation really bothers some people. They can tell a difference in the amount of oxygen in the air. Congratulations a the last weigh in!
