Today is a crazy day. I've got to get a list made before my anxiety hits. If I'm headed in the right direction I'll be ok.

I did run today. While it feels so good when I'm done, the entire process is a push. It's time to run outside. It's time for a change of scenery, crunching gravel and fresh air.

I started my half marathon training this week. For the next few weeks, its all about endurance. Building up distance and sustaining that distance. The next phase will work on strength, then speed. I like the program I'm doing. It's different from what's out there. It's covers a longer period of time and I feel like I'll be really prepared when it's time for my half.

Half marathon. Who would have thought. Just signing up for that is a NSV. This is the week to focus on NSVs. I need to. I need to focus on the positive and the behaviors that I need to get me where I'm going. I ate carrots this week. I ate some salads this week. Forget the cookies.... I drank my water. I ate lean proteins. I ate my fruit. I got my rest. I have a fairly clean house. The laundry is done (except for a batch of towels - today....) It's good to be me. I am grateful.

  1. I wrote one of my famous long comments, but lost it, so the shortened version.
    1) 199 is amazing!!!
    2) You are telling me you cannot tell a difference between the scout picture and the before picture? Call your eye doctor immediately. You may have a problem.
    3) Faster...run faster now and then between two telephone poles. Also, work on fast twitch muscles as you lift. Slow and steady down, explode (fast and powerful) up.
    Keep it up!
