What a great weekend. Fun, family, friends and football. I only used 5 of my points allowance which for the Super Bowl is fantastic. I focused on power foods and stuck to my menu. I did sample some yummy dips but didn't blow it on those and I had a yummy chocolate brownie. I feel confident that this will be a great week.

Saturday's weigh was not good - up 2.8 pounds. I knew it would be like that and I was ok with that. Resilience - isn't that what it's all about? Bouncing back and not letting one bad weigh in ruin it all?

Today's run was good - 4.5 miles. I had energy at the end and if I had the time I would have done 5 miles today. Last week was so weird - tired and lagging all week. I think I had a virus and just not all the symptoms - runny nose - sore throat-cough - I had all those the week before. I think my body just had to kick the virus that was still lingering.
