What a crazy morning! I slept in a little, waiting to run until 7:00 AM. Not bad, I could be back by eight, shower and be ready for the day before the kids really started moving. Got dressed, went to leave and some little person had left the van door open. The battery was dead. Deader than dead. We jumped it, that took longer than usual - another story for another day - drove around charging the battery ---- wait.... van still running! I'll be back!

Wheew! Van is still in the driveway! I shut it off and started it again. Yeah. One problem solved!

Anyway, I didn't get to run today but I did pop in the Shred. Felt good. Got a work out in. Now to shower and have my day started by..... 10:00AM. Whoa. Later than usual.

I did set new goals for this week. It will be a short week because of weekend commitments, with a Thursday weigh in day. Not a problem. Should be a great week.

I've been thinking about my ultimate weight goal. Isn't it funny that even after a year on this journey, know it is going to take time, I still want to have a timeline. Crazy -- my brain is being reprogrammed. It just takes... time.

I am still looking at June to be close to my goal. I would really love it to correspond with my half marathon. That would mark a huge point in my journey. HUGE. Talk about emotions and motivation!

Have a great eating day! I'm getting my carrots and celery out and leaving them on the counter all day to snack on!

  1. what did you do to prepare for your marathon..or 5K? I want to do this so badly and it feels like I have such a long way to go. i used to be a runner...now, running is hard. I'm working my way back up though. check my blog at http://omwjourney.blogspot.com/
