I ran 5.55 miles this morning.  I'm trying hard to do the scheduled amount so that I can be where I need to be for Red Rock.  I've got two really tough legs - I have to admit, I'm a little worried about the difficulty combined with the heat.
Last week, running felt great.  I was faster that usual.  A little on the tired side but okay.  This week - I'm wiped out.  Tired and slow.  I just take walking breaks more.  I try to stop every mile and a half, walk, get a drink and then start moving again.  I can't shake the tired feeling.  In the morning, I wake up and my body doesn't feel rested.  It's weird.  Summer kills me.  Bedtime is later.  We are busier.  I can't wait for school to start so that bedtime is earlier and we are on a schedule.
