It is a nice, sunny President's Day!  I had a great run today, around 4.5 miles.  I ran outside and it felt great.  It was chilly but so nice to be outside!  I look forward to my runs when they are outside - no dreading here!

Saturday, I waited until later in the day to go.  It was around 40*, sunny and beautiful.  I actually caught up to a friend and ran with him for a while.  I forgot how nice it is to run with a friend.  The time passes so quickly.  It was a long run - 7 miles.  Slowly building to 20 miles.  It was slow and it felt great.  When he had his 10 miles in he stopped to walk and I picked up the pace and finished my last 3 miles.  It really felt good.  I ended at the Rec Center so I could watch my son's basketball game.  Nice idea but I should have stretched and cooled down a little better.  Hind sight is always 20/20.

Eating has been great.  I'm tracking and eating and actually liking food.  I'm really focusing on protein.  I love my Greek yogurt and edemame.  I'm not going over my 28 daily points.  I've got 41 activity points and I still have two days left until I weigh in.  I did get on the scale this morning.  I'm down six pounds.  Whoa.  I hate to even type it.  I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and get to weight watchers on Thursday to weigh in.
