Frustrating.
Enlightening.
I obviously know what I need to do. It was working. I obviously know what NOT to do. It didn't work. I know this life is about learning. Why am I so bull-headed? Why am I not doing what I know I should do?
Today I'm starting a few new things.
- I'm not going to eat fruit and other items that have hidden sugars in them.
- I am not going to eat sugary treats.
- I'm really going to focus on the veggies. My celery is already cut and it's my goal to eat it all today. I'm going to eat my carbs in the morning.
- I'm going to focus on my water intake.
- I'm going to plan. All of my breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Planning is essential.
- I'm going to come up with a mantra. Something that represents me. Something that is positive that will point me in the right direction.
I love running outside. The treadmill doesn't even compare! Don't get me wrong - I'm thankful for the treadmill on those super cold days, but it doesn't compare! keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI have no weather excuse for not running outside since I moved to Southern California - the weather is never too cold or icy to run. I need to get back into it though - I've been doing more spinning and strength classes and virtually no running. It sounds like you are doing great! I hope your long run goes well this weekend.
