I did a 10 mile run today. Five miles at conversation pace, four miles at goal pace and one mile cool down. I decided today to run on the treadmill, it's a lot easier on my hips and ankle. I managed to do three miles at goal pace and felt pretty good. The last two miles I did slower. I felt good and feel like I could have done three more. I'm five weeks away from my half marathon. Five weeks. Feels like forever but May is going to fly by.
I'm not sure how I feel about weigh in tomorrow. How long have I been pushing toward my 65 pound loss? Over a month? Tomorrow is the day. I will be really close. I've had a great eating week and work out week. I've learned over this journey that I don't have two big losses in a row. That being said - next week should be awesome. I just need to focus on the weekend and pushing through until Monday.
