Today I did 4 miles but a little different from just getting it done. The training program I'm doing has me warming up for a mile, then for 2 miles running at goal pace and then cooling down for one mile. This was harder than I thought and it felt great when I was done. My goal pace is around 10:30 per mile. I know. Not very fast but it's where I am and I'm feeling good about it:)
Tomorrow is my day off - yeah! Friday will be a 9 mile run. I'm hoping I can get it done outside but the forecast is for rain. I am not a rain runner. Maybe when it's warmer I will be ;)
I'm still shooting for my 65 pound mark. Last week's weigh in put me 0.8 pounds away. I'm having a huge debate. Do I run before Saturday's weigh in? I have to do 3 miles that day. When I weigh in after a run I'm down 2 pounds. This really throws a wrench in things. Maybe I'll just weigh in before my run. I will probably be up a little but it will be more accurate. Um.
I'm getting excited for my half! I'm wishing it was a little sooner than June 11th but I will definitely be ready!
