I did it! 10 miles. Never in my life have I done that before! It took 1 hour and 52 minutes with a pace of 11:16/mi -- I burned 1493 calories. Wow. I am patting myself on the back and my arm isn't strained at all! My hips are sore but I go to physical therapy again today. Hey, I haven't written about my first PT session. It was very imformative and I feel like I'm on the right path. It's not bursitis, it's the IT band. This runs from my hip down to the side of my knee. Mine is very tight. I am doing exercises - stretches - three times a day. At PT, he hooks electrodes on my hip and does a little therapy then a little ultrasound to break up any scar tissue. I walked out feeling great. The pain came back but if I get on top of it I should be doing great. If I could run in a straight line instead of a circle it would solve a lot of problems. Go away snow!!! Have a great Friday!
