I biked 15 miles today. It took me an hour and seven minutes. I love riding my bike! Today I passed fresh cut alfalfa and it smelled so good. I tried to fit in more hills & not just stay on the trail.
I want to start lifting. I love running & I love biking. Both are great cardio. I just want to see my body take shape. Does that make sense? I can't fit everything in the morning so do I lift at night? In the afternoon? I'm not giving up the running or biking so it's got to fit somewhere.
I went to Weight Watchers again with Tammy. Tammy is my friend who has run Ragnar, half marathons and marathons. She's awesome! She lost 100 pounds! I told you she's amazing! Over the past year, she's dealt with infertility. Trying to get pregnant has been a struggle both mentally & physically. She's gained back everything she had lost. Here she though - back at it.
We had an interesting talk today. She showed me a picture of her at 140 pounds. She looked great. At the same time, she told me she thought she was fat. I totally understood. I've lost a lot but when I look in the mirror I still see imperfections. Crazy, I know. Will there be a time that I look in the mirror & I'm satisfied? I hope so!
