I'm done messing around with sugar. Really - I love it but it just does bad fat things. It might only be gone for 2 weeks while I'm finishing up training for Red Rock but this is a great time to do it!
My husband and I are going to Hawaii in about six weeks. I'm really excited to go! We've never been and it should be perfect weather to go! I would love to be close to my 100 pound loss by then. What a great reward right? I've got my food scale back out. Everything is getting weighed or measured. I know that's how you get results. Veggies will start making a comeback in my meals and snacks. It's so doable.
I ran later in the morning this morning to run in the heat. It wasn't too bad. I took my water and tried to run in the shade whenever possible. It was a day to run hills and boy -- did I run hills. I felt great. My last mile was around 9:30/mile which felt great. I love that my fifth mile is faster than my first. Feels awesome!
