I'm really grateful that I live in an area with so many hills. I'm working on my speed and strength before my next half. I would really like to average 11:00/mile. I know, I know - not a speed demon but it is a very realistic goal for me.
My friends are talking about the Red Rock Relay in Zion - I can't wait. It's a great goal for September.

Can I ask what training program you use? Or do you just make up your own?
ReplyDeleteI use one from a running club. Hal Higdon, Jeff Galloway or cool runnings have similar ones. I looked for ones that had speed training & strength training.
