It all comes back to finishing. Finishing is hard for me. It's a character flaw.
I am going to do my best and finish. I am going to keep running but in addition to running, I'm going to do some workout videos two times a week. Whew. Two times a week. I can handle that. When I want I can kick it up to three times.
I can do this.
I really feel like I'm lacking in the strength and toning department. I just finished Red Rock Relay and I'm looking at pictures of myself. OH MY HECK. This is not where I want to be. I can make changes.
I was going to start Weight Watchers again and track everything I ate. It just hasn't been working. I really felt good when I was doing Body for Life and eating 6 meals a day consisting of a carb and a protein. I was in control. I knew when my body was hungry and needed fuel. I liked it. I liked being so in tune with my body. I'm going to try that again. I'm going to sit down and make a plan for today and this weekend.
In 8 weeks, my son has a football tournament. It's a good deadline for me. It's in a warm place so a swimsuit may be involved and dang it - I want to be tone. At the very least jeans will be involved!
My goal for the next 8 weeks:
- Run 3 times a week.
- Workout dvd 2 times a week.
- Plan my food. Eliminate sugar.
- Make each day count.
I want to be down in inches and feel great going into the holiday. I want to finish what I started in January 2010.
