I do have good things to report! I haven't been eating poorly or not working out! Just busy.
I'm 4 oz away from my 90 pound mark. I'm really excited about that. It's where I want to be before next week. I'm carb loading yesterday & today so I don't know how weigh in will go tomorrow. Carbs always make me nervous but it is so necessary.
Tomorrow is my last long run before my marathon. Only 11 miles. I've been fighting a cold so I'm hoping to feel good & enjoy my run!
I've been fighting a tight and aggravated IT Band. I found a great sports medicine doctor. Two weeks ago I had a cortisone shot where my IT band comes in around my knee. I was so nervous - the ones in my feet hurt so much! They used an ultrasound so it was very precise and honestly- I felt NOTHING! It was amazing. With that, icing, stretching & rolling-- I think I'm almost 100%! If I'm not, I will be next week!
