Today I'm hitting my eating and planning hard. Red Rock is in two and a half months. I'm going to be ready!
Physically I want to start doing more cross training again. My core and IT band need lots of work.
In the kitchen things need to change. I felt good doing the sugar detox - well except for the lack of energy. I'm figuring that out and I'm going to incorporate more whole grains. More brown rice, homemade whole wheat bread and no white flour.
I'm going to go back to Weight Watchers. I'm going to really focus on the power foods and pattern my eating after a Paleo lifestyle.
I want to run faster and I think my weight has a lot to do with my speed. I'm also going to work on improving my cadence. I know that has a huge effect on increasing pace.
That's a lot to focus on but at the same time I think it's okay. I can do it!
Does any of that make sense? It will.

Breakfast
2 fried eggs with 2 oz of crumbled sausage cooked in them
Snack
cheddar cheese and jerky
Lunch
Pico de gallo bacon and avocado salad
