The past six months I had noticed that my hair is really dry, it doesn't look healthy. My nails aren't great either. I think that because I haven't had any good oils. I avoided them because of their "points". I avoided dairy because of the points. I ate everything that was low cal or low fat. I don't think I realized how much sugar low fat and low cal contained. I don't have a problem with Weight Watchers. It got me where I am today. It's just not for me right now. I need to focus on lean proteins and veggies. After this 21 day detox, I'm steering my eating toward the Paleo diet. I'm not sure why it's called a diet. It's really a way of life.
My husband is on board with me and is doing the detox as well. He's doing great. Planning is key and having food ready when or before you're hungry helps.
I'll record my weight so that you can see my progress. It's motivating because I do see progress already. Thanks goodness.
Good for you. It's been 15 days since I've had sugar and I agree with what you said, I thought I'd struggle more, too. Hey, I heard of the Paleo diet, but I don't know much about it. Maybe I'll google it today. It sounds like something I'd be interested in.
