Red Rock was awesome. I loved every minute. I'll be honest - there was a brief uphill period at 10,000 feet where it wasn't that great but I was almost done with that leg. I don't think I had an easy leg - each pushed me to my limits and I felt great when I was done. I can't wait for Ragnar!
I've run since then and I've just felt great. I ran at night last week and I really enjoyed it. This week I'm trying to get back on a schedule and get it done. It's dark in the mornings - really dark but it's okay. I'm still outside and that's what I want.
A few weeks ago, I submitted my "story" to Altra footwear. Last week I was selected as the "Altramaniac" for the week. I'm not sure what to think about that. I wasn't in a car wreck and had to learn to walk again. I'm not an ultra runner. I'm just me and it was fun to share my experience. Here's the link to my story -
Before Red Rock I did purchase my second pair of Altras. I love them. They are the new Intuitions 1.5. I use the support wedge from my Provisions and they just feel great. No problems at all running.
